Add On Enhancements

Aroma Therapy(doTerra)-$5- Aromatherapy is the therapeutic use of plant-derived, aromatic essential oils to promote physical and psychological well-being. It is sometimes used in combination with massage and other therapeutic techniques as part of a holistic treatment approach. Here are some examples of some of the many basic ones we have:

  • Lavender- Headaches, depression, insomnia, stress, sprains, and nausea

  • Peppermint- Indigestion, nausea, headache, motion sickness, and muscle pain

  • Eucalyptus- Arthritis, coughing, poor circulation.

  • Lemon- Corns, dull skin, oily skin, varicose veins, warts.

Hot Stones-$5- Hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly. If you want this add on, request 2 hours ahead of time to make sure they are hot and ready.

Body Massage Oils- These highly processed oils are very light in weight and offer excellent glide and texture. This oil washes out of most linens easily without the aid of additives. It is also an excellent carrier for essential, fragrance or aromatherapy oils, and for use as a bath oil.

  • Jojoba Oil-$5- Jojoba is applied directly to the skin for acne, psoriasis, sunburn and chapped skin. It is also used topically to encourage the regrowth of hair in people who are balding.

  • Coconut Oil-$5- Coconut oil works wonders for dry and damaged skin, cuts, bruises, and speeds the healing while it fights infection. Coconut oil forms a protective barrier to hold in moisture while penetrating into the deeper layers of the skin to helping to keep connective tissues strong and supple. Coconut oil is readily absorbed into the skin, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

  • Apricot Kernel Oil(Eminence)-$10- Apricot kernel oil is great for use as a massage oil as it is very light and makes the skin soft. Apricot kernels themselves are quite healthy and are being researched for a number of health conditions including cancer.

Back Mask and Scrub- $15- Eminence product is what we use with this add on. The point of a back mask is to cleanse and purify the pores on your back and clear the skin of dead skin cells. As we exfoliate your skin, you’ll find it’s easier for your body to absorb moisture from the steam and soap in the shower or from applying lotion afterwards. The result is fresh, clean, glowing skin.

Cupping-$5- Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a local suction is created on the skin; practitioners believe this mobilizes blood flow in order to promote healing. Sometimes we need to pull the muscles instead of always pushing.

Muscle rub creams are designed to loosen up knots and tight, tired muscles to keep them performing their best.

Bio Freeze- $5- Bio freeze is a topically applied analgesic that works by using menthol to provide relief through cooling tissue. It works by inhibiting pain through very similar mechanisms to that of ice. There is cooling of the superficial tissues as well as gaiting the nerve pathways responsible for the sensation of pain.  It has been studied in comparison to ice producing greater effects at reducing pain and tissue cooling at periods of 9 minutes following application without creating the burning and painful sensations that are associated with ice.

doTerra Deep Blue and essential oil- $10- doTERRA Deep Blue is perfect for a soothing massage after a long day of work. Wintergreen, Camphor, Peppermint, Ylang Ylang, Helichrysum, Blue Tansy, Blue Chamomile, and Osmanthus work together to soothe and cool. You get the essential oil and the balm. With this you will receive both the balm and essential oil.

Policies Notification

We appreciate that you’ve chosen us for your massage and bodywork needs. To provide the best service possible to our clients we have implemented the following policies.

Cancellation Policy

We respectfully ask that you provide us with a 24 hour notice of any schedule changes or cancellation requests. Please understand that when you cancel or miss your appointment without providing a 24 hour notice we are often unable to fill that appointment time. this is an inconvenience to your therapist and also means our other clients miss the chance to receive services they need. For this reason, you will be charged 50% of the service fee for the first missed session and 100% of the service fee for each session after that. We also reserve the right to require a credit card number to be given to book future appointments so that appropriate fees may be charged if a late cancellation does occur.

We understand that emergencies can arise and illnesses do occur at inopportune times. If you have a fever, a known infection, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours prior to your appointment time, we request that you cancel your session. Inclement weather may also result in the need for late cancellations. We will do our best to give advanced notice if we are closing or need to cancel due to bad weather and we ask you to do the same. Please do not risk your own safety trying to make your appointment. Late cancellation due to emergency, illness, or inclement weather will generally not result in any missed session charges, but this is determined on a case-by-case basis.

Late Arrival Policy

We request that you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow time to fill out any required paperwork as well as answer any intake questions your therapist may have. We understand that issues can arise that may cause you to be late for your appointment. However, we ask that you call to inform us if this ever occurs so we can do our best to accommodate you. Appointment times are reserved for each client, so often times we cannot exceed that reserved time without making the next client late. For this reason, arriving after your appointment time may result in loss of time from your massage so that your session ends at the scheduled time. Full service fees will be charged even when sessions are shortened due to late arrival. In return we will do our best to be on time, and if we are unable to do so we will add time to your session to make up for our late arrival or adjust the service charge accordingly.

Treat your therapist with respect and dignity and you will be treated the same in return.
